Lara Kožul Švabić
My name is Lara Kožul Švabić and I am a graduate physiotherapist from Rijeka, where I attended medical secondary school and then completed a professional study programme in physiotherapy. As a licensed member of the Croatian Chamber of Physiotherapists, I have the knowledge and authorisation required to practise independently. I spent my childhood in Opatija and Lovran, and for the past fifteen years I have lived in Kastav with my family, where I set up my own practice.
My love of physiotherapy began in early childhood, through my own spinal problems and the time I spent doing exercises and physical therapy. It was there that I also discovered a talent for massage, which I have refined through numerous training courses and workshops.
I gained many years of experience in the spas of prestigious hotels — the four-star Miramar in Opatija and the five-star Salzburgerhof in Zell am See. I took my first professional steps with a well-known Rijeka doctor and homeopath, where I was introduced to alternative methods and acupuncture, and to how they can be combined with conventional medicine.
Over the course of my career I have learned a wide range of massage techniques and taught younger colleagues. By combining my physiotherapy knowledge with various massage techniques, I developed my own technique, which I adapt to each person’s needs. My aim is to bring massage and physiotherapy together to offer the best possible help — with a feeling of relaxation and luxury.
